MANCHSTER CITY striker Mario Balotelli scored his 10th goal in 18 games as his side advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA?Cup. City profited from Gerard Houllier’s decision to make eight changes for the visitors and were in front after only four minutes through Yaya Toure.
Balotelli then finished off a sensational second before David Silva wrapped up the scoring 20 minutes from time to book a last-eight clash at home to Reading.
Defending his selection, Houllier said: “I had to do it and I would do it again. I don’t think we could have beaten Manchester City today.”
