Cipriani in Rebels snub

ENGLAND outcast Danny Cipriani’s future at Melbourne Rebels has been plunged into fresh doubt after he was left out of the squad for a two-match trip to South Africa.

Cipriani, 23, was dropped for last week’s clash with Queensland for his latest breach of club discipline and has remained out in the cold for the Australian side’s forthcoming matches against the Bulls and the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

The fly-half, in his first season Down Under, is being punished for breaking a curfew. It comes just two months after he was fined by the Rebels for helping himself to alcohol in a nightclub.
