LEXUS HATCHBACK GOES ZERO CARBON
Emissions are now officially the new battleground. Lexus has announced that its new CT 200h compact hatchback will have emissions as low as 96g/km of CO2 – beating the magical sub-100g/km figure – thanks to its full hybrid powertrain. This means road tax will be zero when the car goes on sale in the UK early next year. Combined cycle fuel economy should be as low as 68.9mpg too.

SAY HELLO TO A BRITISH SUPERCAR
Say hello to the very latest British supercar, the AF10, from Arash Motor Company. The car, which has a modular carbon-fibre chassis and a 7-litre V8 engine (from a Corvette-sourced 7.0-litre V8) delivers 550bhp and costs £620,000. It will be on show at MPH The Prestige & Performance Motor Show at Earls Court from 4 November.

A TASTE OF F1
Ferrari has released an online virtual simulator which allows anyone to experience what it’s like to drive a Ferrari F10 race car. Ferrari used authentic race car data to develop the software, along with the help of Ferrari’s F1 team drivers. Players can compete online driving the Fiorano, Mugello and Nürburgring race circuits.
