ASTON MARTIN TEAMS WITH ZAGATO

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin has created an elegant, new V12 Zagato concept with the Italian design house Zagato. The car has a handcrafted aluminium body and features the iconic Zagato double bubble roof. The car premiered at the Villa D’Este Concours, Lake Como, Italy on Saturday.

FIAT GETS A NEW GUCCI MAKEOVER

Fiat is introducing a Gucci-trimmed version of its 500 city car. Called “500byGucci” and customised by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, the car comes in black or white and has branded alloy wheels. The trademark Gucci stripe runs along the side of the car and is on the seats, carpets and seat belts inside. Prices start at £14,565 and the car is only available. www.500bygucci.com

FORD’S F1 AERODYNAMICS
If you thought active aerodynamics was just for F1 race cars you’re mistaken. Ford’s new active grille shutter system – which is fitted to some models of Focus, Mondeo, Galaxy and S-Max – has motorised vanes to reduce or block air flow to the car’s cooling system depending on driving requirements. The result is improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions thanks to reduced drag.
