ASTON V8 VANTAGE S
Aston Martin has released details of its new V8 Vantage S. The S version has an extra 10bhp over the N420 V8 which means its 4.7 litre V8 now produces 430bhp. The car has quicker steering and a chassis with new springs and dampers and wider rear wheels. An improved seven-speed Sportshift transmission means gear changes are up to 20 percent quicker and a new exhaust muffler means even the legendary exhaust note is improved too.

MILESTONE FOR MAZDA’S BELOVED MX-5
Mazda has sold 900,000 MX-5 roadsters making it the world’s best-selling two-seater sportscar and is now due for a new entry in Guinness World Records. Reaching this milestone 21 years and 10 months after the first MX-5 was built in April 1989, the MX-5 is the longest-running model in the Mazda’s line up. The iconic little roadster is considered by many to provide the most driving fun you can have. Which makes for an awful lot of happy people.

VW’S TIGUAN: A HINT OF WHAT IS TO COME
Just as the rest of the car world seems committed to making its cars look more and more aggressive, VW continues to head in the opposite direction. The first pictures of the revised Tiguan compact 4×4 have been released ahead of its Geneva Motor Show launch next month and horizontal lines dominate the car’s new front end, along with intricate headlights which feature daytime running LED. Couldn’t be softer.
