Think cutting edge mobile game development and you probably don’t think Cirencester. Still, the people at Neonplay are putting the sleepy Cotswolds town on the map.

Fireproof
Based in Guildford, indie developer Fireproof won a Bafta award for their multi-million selling The Room, which was released in 2012. The Fireproof guys all used to work at Criterion Games.

Johnny Two Shoes
Working out of that hotbed of tech innovation Shoreditch, Johnny Two Shoes makes simple, artfully designed games that they describe as a “melting pot of adventure, science and adventure”.

Rodeo
The good people at Rodeo all gave up their jobs developing triple A games to dedicate their lives to mobile gaming. A diverse range of titles have one thing in common: quality.

Natural Motion
After starting life in Oxford, Natural Motion has since opened offices in London and San Francisco. The key to its success? Quirky, fun, well-produced games that are impossible to put down.
