C4 BOSS EVICTED

Channel 4 is expected to confirm today that its chief executive, Andy Duncan, will step down, ending months of speculation. Industry sources said that the announcement has been delayed while Duncan negotiated his pay-off, but is expected this morning. Duncan had been under fire for failing to secure the state-owned broadcaster’s future funding, which will be short by some £150m from 2012.
