Brexit’s Got 90s Talent: Farage and Brexiteers deploy East 17 and 5ive
There's a serious generation gap when it comes to how the nation will vote in June's referendum, but it looks like the Leave campaign has a new plan to woo the younger generation who are more in favour of staying in Europe, according to the polls.
What better way to target young people than a live concert bringing together their favourite Brexit supporting bands?
It's no secret that anti-EU campaigners love a bit of nostalgia. Brexiteers have rescheduled their ill-fated Bpoplive concert with line up that includes East 17, Five, Alesha Dixon and Sister Sledge. Yep, somehow, the referendum is taking place in 1996, not 2016.

Supported by the Leave.EU group, for just £23 a ticket, millennials can be transported back in time to the heyday of boyband pop and at the same time get to hear about why exactly they should vote to Leave – from Nigel Farage, Liam Fox and Kate Hoey. What. A. Day.
And if that doesn't tempt the young 'uns, there's always the promise of "surprise guest performers" and more acts to be announced at what's being touted as the "the biggest political rally in modern British history".
Vetoed from the playlist will likely be East 17's hit single "Stay Another Day".
