Amazon is kicking off its Boxing Day sale on Christmas Day. That’s right, you can start hunting for deals if Santa didn’t bring what you wanted before you’ve even had time to digest Christmas dinner.

But there are also a host of retailers waiting to open their doors to sale shoppers on Boxing Day that have already started discounting online on Christmas Eve, including John Lewis, Harrods and Next.

Here's the lowdown on who is doing what and when, including some of the best offers we spotted.

AMAZON

The online giant's sale starts at 4pm on 25 December and runs until 31 December when more than 1,600 items will be on offer discounted one average by 35 per cent, including Kindle Fire tablets, Amazon’s streaming device Fire TV and electrical, fashion and entertainment products.

If you’re preparing for New Year, there’s Johnny Walker Black whiskey reduced to £26.64 from £33.23.

Plans to take up a musical instrument as a New Year resolution? How about a Yamaha digital piano, down to £459.99 and saving £172.73.

Or if you’re planning a health kick in January, there’s the Fitbug activity tracker, reduced to £29.99 from £46.42.

If you’re still trying to escape the family over the festive period, there will be popular Kindle books priced at just 99 pence to bury your head in.

HARRODS

A classic sale for those after designer labels, get online now for super savings of up to 50 per cent off homeware, handbags, shoes, perfume and skincare.

Budding chefs will be delighted by the KitchenAid mixer in a selection of colours reduced to £385 from £429.99.

For those preparing for some spring cleaning, Dyson vacuums have £40 off.

Fashion lovers rejoice. There are Chloe and Alexander McQueen handbags at almost half price, and reductions on Ugg, Kurt Geiger and Charlotte Olympia shoes.

Meanwhile, those perfume sets that make perfect Christmas gifts- and a better gift for yourself? There are more than 100 reduced by 50 per cent.

JOHN LEWIS

Getting in even earlier than Amazon, the John Lewis sale begins on Christmas Eve at 5pm online, while in stores it starts on Boxing Day.

While full details of offers have yet to be unveiled, those after fashion or furniture look to be in for a treat. Big ticket items such as Sofas, beds, dining tables and a host of homeware is reduced by up to 50 per cent.

CURRYS

Another early starter, Curry’s will begin deals online from 7pm on Christmas Eve and then Boxing Day in stores. Electricals, computers, games consoles and tablets are likely to be the order of the day here, though specific deals are yet to be announced. You can sign up now to get all the details of the deals straight to your inbox first, though.

NEXT

Next fans love queuing up for a sale on Boxing Day morning, and this year will be no different with some stores opening as early as 6am. Savvy shoppers can stay indoors and grab a bargain online from 3pm on Christmas Eve

SELFRIDGES

Those after flashy brands for less than flashy prices will be waiting for Boxing Day morning. Online from 7am and in store from 9am, the luxury retailer will kick off discounts of up to 50 per cent.

H&M, ASOS, GAP, NEW LOOK

You may have already missed out on the best deals at these stores as they kicked off their sales earlier in December. There’s still sale items to be snapped up with up to 50 and 60 per cent reductions so get shopping now if you have time.

Happy shopping!
