Blue Index, the contracts for difference broker at the centre of the latest probe by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), broke its silence yesterday and confirmed that the regulator has temporarily banned it from regulated activities. The ban was imposed last week after an FSA-led investigation led to six arrests after eight raids on properties in London and Essex. The ban is understood to be temporary, though no timeline has been provided.
