There's just three weeks to go before Black Friday, the day analysts are tipping as the biggest shopping day of the year (for the second time running).

But for those who can't wait until 27 November (or even 23 November, as Amazon prepares for a week of deals) fear not: there are plenty of huge offers available now from a range of retailers.

Of course much of it is being led by Amazon, which is promising 7,000 different deals during the retail bonanza.

And the retailer has mastered the art of building excitement around its week of deals (while also managing the deluge of shoppers), with countdowns and a limited number of stock.

Top deals on currently include HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset, which is £49.99 instead of £74.99 and a CC Better CS810W Sports Camera, which is £53.99 instead of £72.99.

Littlewoods is gearing up for Black Friday with deals including £500 off an LG 49in Freeview HD 4K Ultra LED TV, which is on sale for £699. The online retailer is offering a number of similar deals for TVs made by Panasonic and Samsung.

Argos is currently running its "Red Five-Day Event", claiming "every day is Black Friday" at the general goods retailer.

Deals include a Canon PowerShot SX410 2oMP 40x Zoom Bridge Camera, which is on sale for £99.99, down from £259.99 and a Bush 32in HD-ready LED TV for £159.99, down from £219.99.

Zavvi is planning deals on PS4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as games, DVDs and Blu-rays and merchandise. There are some select offers on at the moment, but the etailer appears to be holding off until the big day comes around.
