Better Call Saul UK release date on Netflix: Put 9 February in your diary for the Breaking Bad spin-off

UK fans of the hugely anticipated Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul should clear their diaries for 9 February.

That's when the very first episode of the new series will be available to watch on Netflix.

Better Call Saul will air on Monday night, just 24 hours after the series is first screened on TV channel AMC in the US on a Sunday night.

A second episode will follow on Tuesday 10 February, and on Tuesday nights going forward.

For those not in the loop, the series is a prequel to Breaking Bad in which viewers follow the trials and tribulations of how Walter White’s lawyer,Saul Goodman, became the man   who represents the criminal underworld of Albuquerque New Mexico.

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan returns to direct the pilot of Better Call Saul, along with a host of other Breaking Bad staffers, including writer and producer Peter Gould.

AMC has already commissioned a second series and the first is already getting rave reviews from US critics.

After the hit series ended in 2013 after five seasons, our lives finally have meaning again.
