BEST BEACH
All along our fine shores you can find beaches bathed in pink sand, made from finely pulverized remains of calcium carbonate shells and skeletons of invertebrates such as corals and clams. The pink sand makes the already poetic scenery that much harder to resist. Once you step foot on Horseshoe Bay Beach you will realize why it is the most celebrated on the island. The long, sweeping crescent of pink sand makes it a popular choice any time of year. The nearby Beach House offers snacks, rentals and changing facilities.

BEST ART AND CULTURE
The National Museum of Bermuda is set within the Keep, a sprawling six-acre fortress at the edge of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Eight historic buildings, including old munitions warehouses and the newly restored Commissioner’s House, contain a great variety of exhibitions on our rich history. Whether taking in some local history, enjoying stunning views from the ramparts, or exploring Bermuda’s largest fort, there is plenty to see and learn at this important cultural attraction.

BEST ROMANTIC EXCURSION
One step on our shores and you’ll understand why we say, “Feel the Love”. You’ll discover romance at every corner, from our unique Moongates to our pink sands. Start your day with an intimate couples’ massage at one of our world-class spas. End your day of romance with a private dinner on the beach, and just let our beautiful azure waters, blushing sands and symphony of whistling tree frogs be your backdrop.

BEST ACTIVITIES/SPORT
On our island you are never more than a deep breath away from the underwater experience of a lifetime. Dive below to visit more than 400 historic wrecks, some dating back to the 15th century. Bermuda is the undisputed shipwreck capital of the Atlantic and is the highlight of their trip for many visiting divers. You can also explore over 200 square miles of coral reef through snorkelling and diving.

DID YOU KNOW?
Since 2007, Bermuda has been home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, the season-ending showcase featuring golf’s premier foursome. The Mid Ocean Club hosted the showcase in 2007 and 2008, and in 2009 and 2010 the tournament was held at our recently renovated and world-renowned Port Royal Golf Course. We are pleased to announce that Bermuda and the Port Royal Golf Course will return as hosts through 2012 for the 29th and 30th editions of the event.

British Airways offers holidays to Bermuda from £739 pp. Terms and conditions may apply. See ba.com for details.
