Bank of England to reveal interest rate and inflation report – London Report

THE BANK of England (BoE) will announce the latest Bank rate today, with economists expecting it to remain at its historic 0.5 per cent low.

On Wednesday the BoE will announce its widely-watched inflation report. Employment and unemployment figures are also due that day and are expected to show a strong market.

The corporate calendar starts today with reports from Dignity, Diploma, Lonmin and ITE Group.

Tomorrow 3i Infrastructure, easyJet, Enterprise Inns, Experian, Hilton Food, Hiscox, Iofina, Just Retirement and Speedy Hire will give figures.

On Wednesday Barratt, Centaur, Compass Group, G4S, Galliford Try, Partnership Assurance, Premier Oil, Renishaw and SABMiller will update the market.

On Thursday 3i Group, Aggreko, British Land, Euromoney, Grainger, Mitchells & Butlers, Old Mutual, Paddy Power, Rank Group, Stobart Group, Talktalk Telecom, UDG Healthcare, Vedanta Resources and Vesuvius will all give numbers and trading reports are expected from Hill & Smith, Melrose, Merlin Entertainments, SIG and The Restaurant Group. On Friday Coca-Cola HBC will report.
