AUSTIN Reed has launched a new bespoke service, offering its customers a fully made to measure suit from just £399.

The tailor has over a century of expertise and has created bespoke suits for statesmen and celebrities including Richard E Grant and Alastair Cooke. The service allows you to choose from over 4,000 varieties of cloth, from renowned merchants including Holland & Sherry, Dormeuill, Scabal, Smith Woollens, Lear Brown Dunsford, Dugdale Bros Tomas Fisher and Bateman Ogden.

The Regent Street flag ship store also offers a hand cut, made in England full canvas option. Prices go up to £1,699 depending on fabric choices and additional extras.

Delivery of the initial finished suit usually takes around 6 to 8 weeks from the date of order plus up to three additional visits prior to final collection.

A spokesman said: “Using our finest British and Italian cloths, our experienced fitters and tailors draw from over a century of expertise when creating you suit.

“Our bespoke clients are invited to add their personal touch to styling and design, from modern classic to more fashionable contemporary designs, with many optional extras such as stitch effect detail to collar, lapels, pocket flaps and cuff vents. A diverse collection of linings are also available.
