The Apple Watch 2 might be coming this year
An updated version of Apple's first ever wearable and its newest device, the Apple Watch, could be coming as soon as this year, one analyst predicts.
The Apple Watch 2 is expected to hit wrists by the end of the year, said Ming-Chi Kuo, an analysts at KGI and known as one of the most well informed people on the ins and outs of Apple.

Kuo said the second smartwatch will have a new GPS radio and barometer for better geolocation, along with a better battery, AppleInsider reports, having seen the note sent to investors. The Apple Watch 2 will not be slimmer, however.
Apple also plans to update its first iteration of the watch, with an improved processor and improved waterproofing, according to Kuo.

The Apple Watch exploded onto the scene amid much hype last year. However, many Apple fans have since aired some disappointment with the device's lack of features.
The latest figures reveal Apple Watch sales decline by 55 per cent in the second quarter of the year, according to IDC.
