Joshua said CBD's ability to improve people’s lives is "undeniable".

British boxer Anthony Joshua has become a shareholder in Love Hemp, the UK’s leading CBD and hemp products supplier.

Joshua has signed a three-year endorsement deal from next month when he will take up the role of international ambassador for the brand.

Love Hemp will also collaborate with the two-time heavyweight champion on a licenced range of CBD products for athletes.

“Love Hemp is a great brand with an amazing vision. The ability of CBD to improve people’s everyday lives is undeniable,” Joshua said.

“I have a passion for dynamic British businesses and for wellness, making Love Hemp a perfect brand for me to endorse and become a shareholder in.”

Love Hemp is a UK pioneer in the CBD market with over 40 products including oils, edibles, sprays and cosmetics.

The company sells its products across 70 websites and 2,000 stores including Holland & Barrett, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.

According to Love Hemp’s CEO Tony Calamita, the firm’s products can help sports men and women with muscle recovery, pain management and reduced inflammation.

“Since we launched in 2015, we have worked hard to create a trusted and fully certified premium CBD brand with a diverse range of organic products,” Calamita said.

“Via his involvement with Love Hemp Group, Anthony will help us deliver this important message to the highest levels of UK and international sport.”
