ENGLISH rugby chiefs will today announce an overhaul of governing body the RFU which could see elite director Rob Andrew’s influence weakened.

New chief executive John Steele yesterday saw his recommendations accepted by the RFU board.

Andrew could be kept on in a streamlined role, fuelling speculation that a big name coach such as South Africa’s Jake White could be brought on board as performance director.
