ALISTAIR DAVIES | INVESTEC
Careful planning and tactical promotions have enabled Dixons Carphone to deliver a strong Christmas trading performance, with the business taking profitable market share through Black Friday….We continue to see scope for upgrades at Dixons Carphone through market outperformance and synergy benefits.

DAVID JEARY | CANACCORD GENUITY
The strength of trading performance over peak underpins, in our view, the merits of the merger of equals between two market leaders, with their complementary strengths in terms of both product authority and service provision. The latter could provide a rich stream of revenues over the longer-term.

MIKE DENNIS | CANTOR FITZGERALD
We believe Dixons has done better than John Lewis electricals and home technology total sales…Compared to John Lewis we estimate Dixons has been widening the sales performance gap from the second to third quarter Christmas period showing that Dixons’ pricing, service and range improvements are gaining share.
