PROSPECTIVE Portsmouth owner Sulaiman Al Fahim is looking to bring former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson back to the Premier League.

Al Fahim had an official offer for the south coast club accepted on Wednesday and is expected to complete the takeover from current owner Alexandre Gaydamak in the next few weeks.

The Arab property magnate is already looking to Eriksson to replace current boss Paul Hart and lead a bright new era, and Eriksson’s agent Athole Still believes the Swede would be interested.

“It’s a club with money and a club that looks like it will have ambition, which is very important to any top manager. Of course it would be a club that interests him.”
