After Apple Music, here’s what Taylor Swift needs to fix next

Taylor Swift took on Apple – and won. Now the internet is asking her for more help.

Pop star Swift lashed out in an open letter against Apple’s plans to offer a free trial of its music streaming service, and managed to persuade the company to change its mind.

Fans celebrated Swift’s intervention on social media, hailing her as a role model.

Taylor was not only standing up for herself but also artists like me. I can't thank her enough. A role model for every artist @taylorswift13

In her open letter, Swift wrote:

We don’t ask you for free iPhones. Please don’t ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation.

Apple announced on Monday that musicians will get paid after all, as Apple gives its music away for free during the three-month trial period of Apple Music.

Now the sway she holds over Apple has been revealed, Swift’s work is far from done. At least if Twitter is to be believed. After all, there are so many things left to fix…

Got a mobile phone with a shoddy battery life? Ask Taylor to have a word.

Can Taylor Swift now write an open letter complaining about Apple's battery life? And how we shouldn't have to work on a Monday?

And those undeletable apps are pesky, too.

Hopefully she can do something about the cost of products.

And who’s to say that Swift’s influence extends only over Apple?
