A fatal attraction

If you have dated more than your fair share of ugly ducklings and psychos, then Lorraine Adams may have the answer.

I was enjoying the company at one of my recent member-hosted Bellini and canapes evenings when the conversation turned around to Gareth Sibson and the women he encountered when he set up his website www.chasingbridget.com. After a few glasses of bubbly some of the girls started to open up about their own embarrassing behaviour, and the guys filled us in on a few stories verging on bunny boiler-type scenarios they had found themselves in with girls they had previously dated.

It’s prompted me to ask how many of you high powered ladies have behaved in a totally psychopathic manner with a man you were in love with. Or even believed you were in love with. How many of you reading this have repeatedly called him late at night to get a reaction, or sent countless text messages without a response – it’s amazing how much you can say with just 160 characters! How many times have you howled like a baby over him, or even in front of him? How many times have you totally lost it, then pulled yourself together and gone into an important business meeting and acted as if nothing has happened? Hands up if you have ever haemorrhaged out your entire relationship history with this man to someone you hardly know that you have met in the gym, or the receptionist at one of your clients’ offices.

Granted, I could confidently tell you until the cows come home the best way to attract a man, and it would work. I can tell you how to flirt convincingly and give you the best ideas on what works when it comes to making a guy drool, but how to keep him, and how to get him to adore you and not lose an ounce of interest in you until eternity, I have to put my hands up and say I struggle. Let me tell you the “new” all powerful successful, “take no rubbish from a man” woman doesn’t exist, or if they do they are extremely few and far between.

Help though is at hand, you need to invest some time, and money with Susie Ambrose. Check out her websites www.aspire7030.com and www.seventy thirty.com. The service doesn’t come cheap, but it’s well worth it when you consider that there is a massive chance she will help you to find somebody with whom you are completely compatible.

Somebody who is hoping to find her Prince Charming pretty soon without having to resort to sending late night text messages is the absolutely stunning Amanda Zuydervelt. She is my Miss Eligible of the week. Amanda runs www. stylebible.com. She speaks five languages, was part of the only all-girl team to do the cannonball run from London to Rome this year and is a tall, leggy blonde to boot.

The longest amount of time Amanda has ever been single is three months, so get chasing guys as she has been on my books for a month already!

Meantime, I’m rushing off to do some more filming for a 10-part TV series I am working on. My role is to mentor a gorgeous thirtysomething blonde in her search for Mr Right.

The girl in question is taking 10 weeks out of her life in her quest to find eternal happiness with the man of her dreams — though three weeks in and we have yet to come close. Hope she isn’t reading this column — my credibility factor has probably just sunk to an all time low.
