This London tech entrepreneur has been picked to advise Arnold Schwarzenegger on The Celebrity Apprentice
A London-based fintech entrepreneur has been picked to join Arnold Schwarzenegger in the boardroom on the US version of Celebrity Apprentice.
Gemma Godfrey, the founder of online wealth manager Moola (who also appeared in City PM's Power 100 list earlier this year), will join Arnie' 10-strong panel of advisers alongside Jessica Alba, Warren Buffett and YouTube celebrity Justine "iJustine" Ezarik.
Former Apprentice host Donald Trump announced this week he will step down from his business (and telly) commitments.
To be aired in January, the show has been rebranded The New Celebrity Apprentice, and will move from its location in Trump Tower in New York to Silicon Beach in Los Angeles (incidentally, where Arnie began his bodybuilding career).
This year's stable of contestants includes Boy George, Vince Neil and Laila Amaria Ali, as well as model Brooke Burke-Charvet.
A former head of investment strategy at Brooks Macdonald, Godfrey has a degree in quantum physics.
