It's only one more sleep until Black Friday and John Lewis just announced its biggest set of deals ever.

Of course, some of us may not be sleeping before the deals start. The John Lewis sale goes live at midnight. Stores will open early (8am) for people willing to fight through the crowds to the electronics section.

The department store promises to be "Never Knowingly Undersold", which, in the digital age, is proving complicated, as it says it will keep lowering prices throughout the day to match its competitors. In fact, some of John Lewis' products are as cheap as Amazon's products which are "on sale".

Here some of the best offers available:

KitchenAid 150 stand mixer: £299 (save £150).

Le Creuset cast iron range: save 40 per cent.

Michael Kors fragrance range: save 30 per cent.

John Lewis stainless steel with copper base pan set: £75 (half price).

UE BOOM2 exclusive limited edition prints: £84.95 (half price).

Playmobil remote control pirate ship: £30 (save £40).

Samsung HDR 4K Ultra HC Smart TV, 40 inch screen: £349, save £250.

Dartington glassware range: save 30 per cent.

DKNY fragrance range: save 30 per cent.

Dino Rocos, lead director and operations director at John Lewis, said: "Last Black Friday was the biggest week for sales in our 150 year history, with johnlewis.com experiencing a 300 per cent increase in traffic during the early hours of trading on Black Friday itself.

"We are well prepared for the demand but it's our customers who will decide the exact pattern of trading."
