Daters rejoice: one of the most important elements of a relationship (musical taste, fyi) can now help you find a match on Tinder.

The dating app has partnered with Spotify to integrate your listening habits into your profile, meaning you can now find that perfect partner based on a shared love of bands or singers.

Users can share their top songs with potential matches while shared favourite tunes will be highlighted.

People will also be prompted to choose an "anthem" – a single song to define who they are – a feature that will be available to all users, not just Spotify subscribers.

Tinder has introduced a string of new features to keep users interested, including a group date feature and the so-called super like for people you really like.
