Sir Philip Green is now the fourth richest person in the UK after the death of billionaire landowner Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, the former Duke of Westminster.

The duke was the UK's third richest person until he died last night at the age of 64. His fortune was estimated at £8.3bn by Forbes magazine.

Before the duke's death, Green was in fifth place – but now he and his wife, Lady Tina Green, have moved up to fourth place on Forbe's UK rich list, with an estimated fortune of £4.28bn.

The Green family have come under fire from MPs recently for the collapse of the high street chain BHS; Green himself was labelled "the unacceptable face of capitalism" in a damning report from the joint select inquiry into BHS' collapse.

Now, the family's £100m superyacht is cruising in the Aegean. If you're looking to holiday like a retail tycoon, check out the family's route, exclusively put together by City A.M.

Green is now in talks with The Pensions Regulator about how to sort BHS' pension deficit and help the company's employees, who are facing a possible cut to their pensions.

As Deloitte and Linklaters have been working on the detail, the pension deficit has widened due to the Brexit vote, creating problems for Green.
