Strewth: John Lewis is going Down Under
Brits will soon be able to travel to the other side of the world safe in the knowledge that they won't be far away from their favourite range of Egyptian cotton pillowcases and cashmere jumpers.
That's right – John Lewis is going Down Under.
The retailer is to open six shop-in-shops in Australian department store Myer.

Its first shop is expected to open in Warringah on the outskirts of Sydney before Christmas.
Outlets in Melbourne, Perth, Bondi, Chadstone and Sydney will follow in February next year.
The new openings will bring John Lewis's shop-in-shop total across the world to 30.
The retailer also today announced that it was increasing the number of countries it delivers to from 33 to 40.
The UK-based company now delivers in Hong Kong, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines and Malaysia.

"There is a real synergy between Myer's customer base and ours, and we believe they are the perfect partner for our first Australian shop-in-shops."
