How to watch Apple’s next big announcement

No sooner than we have a new iPhone (the SE, if you'd forgotten) than it's that time of year when we roll around to one of Apple's big annual events – WWDC.

The tech company's annual developer conference is where several announcements are due to be made – from a new evolution of Siri, potentially, to an overhaul of the app store.

Eager Apple fans will be able to watch the event's opening keynote speech from boss Tim Cook live online in an important address to the thousands of developers in the audience – and everyone else watching around the world.

It all kicks off on Monday 13 June at 6pm London time, as Cook takes to the stage of the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The event keynote can be streamed via the Apple website – note it usually has to be via an Apple device – here.

There's also an app that will be streaming the speech, while other parts of the five part event will also be available to watch in the same way. Guest speakers include Bill Rosemann, the creative head of Marvel Games
