Now you can pitch your startup idea to a VC in an Uber

Anyone with a startup idea can now pitch it to top investors, simply by getting an Uber on the streets of London.

The on-demand startup is partnering with some of Europe's top venture capital firms – Atomico and EQT Ventures – for UberPitch, an elevator pitch but in an Uber car.

Wannabe Zuckerberg's and Kalanick's will have 10 minutes to woo the VCs and will then get the same amount of time in return to hear what the VC thinks.

UberPitch will hit the streets of London, Birmingham and Edinburgh on 3 June between 11am and 3pm. Startups interested in pitching should apply online.

The travelling pitch event will also take place in more than 37 cities in 21 countries across the continent.

We imagine it's like James Corden's carpool karaoke. Perhaps with less of the singing. Or maybe not, depending on the pitch.

The winning pitch in each country will go through to the final round in Berlin where they will pitch to Uber founder and chief Travis Kalanick on 8 June.
