City Moves for 3 February 2016 | Who’s switching jobs

Parker Fitzgerald

Parker Fitzgerald (PFG), the management consultancy, has appointed Jeremy Scott to its executive board as head of institutional relationships. Jeremy is former global financial services leader and global board member at PwC for 10 years and he was chair of the operations and risk committee. His experience building and managing an international consulting firm will be central to his role of driving PFG’s client and commercial strategy.

Whitman Howard

James Lambert has been appointed as non-executive chairman at institutional stock broker Whitman Howard. Previously James was chief executive of Richmond Foods which he successfully listed and then merged with Roncadin to form R&R Ice Cream. As well as being awarded an OBE in 2013, James was named the EY UK entrepreneur of the year. James also chairs the boards of Animalcare Group, Burton’s Biscuit Company and Wagg Foods.

Wedlake Bell

London law firm Wedlake Bell has appointed two partners to its commercial property and planning team. Graham Atkins and Leah Freeman both join from Druces where they were commercial property partners. Graham has particular expertise in advising high-end retail occupiers, such as the global brand Hugo Boss, property investors and developers and leisure industry operators. He previously worked at Pennington Manches and, before that, Davenport Lyons. As well as acting for retailers such as Hugo Boss, Leah has a broad practice encompassing acting for developers of mixed use schemes and institutional property investors.

Property Moose

Darren Schindler has been appointed executive chairman of property crowdfunders Property Moose. Most recently, Darren was managing director of business & commercial banking at Metro Bank. Darren’s role will be to focus on sustaining Property Moose’s momentum and building its reputation in the alternative asset class with a strong fintech platform.

Misys

Financial software company Misys has announced today the appointment of Rob Binns as chief financial officer. Rob joins Misys from HP, where he was head of treasury and investor relations. He joined Hewlett-Packard in 2007 from Mercury Interactive and has held a number of senior finance positions in the company, including VP software field operations and VP investor relations before being appointed vice president and CFO, HP Software in 2014.
