Black Friday UK 2015: How to survive the chaos as a quarter of Brits admit they’ll use force to get the best deals

Have you got your game plan ready for Black Friday 2015? Or are you planning to sit it out and let everyone else get caught up in the inevitable bunfight?

The deals day (which falls on 27 November) is almost certain to descend into chaos at some point. Research from parcel delivery firm Doddle claims 24 per cent of Britons are prepared to “push and shove others in order to get the best deals this year”.

We're expected to spend even more than last year – more than £1bn has been forecast to go through the tills, compared with £810m. Combine that with the violence that erupted last year and it's no surprise that the police have issued a warning to retailers about increasing security, telling shopkeepers they should not rely on the thin blue line in place of proper calming measures.

That might also explain why Game has gone a bit darker for the second chapter in its Black Friday simulator.

Created by 101, the tongue-in-cheek game-slash-advert – imaginatively titled Christmas Shopper Simulator 2: Black Friday – shows just how physical bargain hunters can sometimes get, as they track down the best possible deals, and offers an alternative way to enjoy Black Friday from the comfort of your own home.

It will be launching tomorrow, but here's a taste of what to expect. It might just give you some tips for how to survive the Black Friday madness.
