Grumpy Cat earned more than top CEOs Jamie Dimon, Sir Martin Sorrell, Marissa Mayer and Carolyn McCall

The internet’s favourite feline has something to smile about.

Grumpy Cat, a YouTube and Reddit star whose name now adorns books, apps, t-shirts and even a type of coffee- the Grumppuccino- has raked in a tidy sum from her sad looking demeanour.

While Grumpy Cat, otherwise known as Tardar Sauce, probably enjoys an extra bowl of Friskies now and then to celebrate the success (she is an ambassador for the brand after all), her owner Tabatha Bundesen has raked in £64m over the last two years.

The native of Arizona revealed she was able to quit her job as a waitress “within days” of Grumpy Cat’s appearance online as the world fell in love with her cat's sad but amusing face (caused by dwarfism incidentally).

With that kind of cash coming in, no wonder Bundesen quit her job. Her Grumpy Cat earnings work out as a yearly wage of £32m, more than a host of business bosses, including Sir Martin Sorrell, Jamie Dimon, Marissa Mayer and Carolyn McCall.

Here’s how they compare.
